2016 Malbec, Sonoma County

Overview

The 2016 Dry Creek Malbec is our inaugural release, and is meant to be more fruit-forward and not as serious as our vineyard designate, the Timber Crest Malbec. It has a rich ruby red color that shines through the glass and a nose full of violet, plum, and cassis. When it hits the palate it has big tannins that will soften over time, but are still very well balanced with big lush flavors of dark berry intertwined with notes of spice and bitter chocolate.
