Our Reserve Chardonnay is named for Randy Peters’ father-in-law, Tom Mukaida. Tom farmed the land when it was initially an apple orchard and will always be remembered for his love of this land. A barrel selection from our 2018 vintage of Peters Vineyard Chardonnay revealed a special and preservable character of clone 76. Aromas of poached pear interspersed with subtle hints of popcorn greet the nose, while the mouthfeel is soft, luscious, and balanced by a bright acidity giving way to a delightful finish of buttery Meyer lemon.
