2018 Grenache, Dry Creek Valley

Dry Creek Valley

Sold Out

This Dry Creek Valley Grenache is made from a vineyard that is literally across the street from our winery.  This vineyard is farmed and owned by one of our mentors and close friends, Ray Teledeschi.  The wine is a true representation of our appellation, Dry Creek Valley, which is a natural home for the varietal. The vines are planted to the Alban Clone and on 101-14 rootstock.

Tasting Notes

This Grenache is a beautiful expression of fruit and minerality.  The layers of flavors are very apparent and the red fruit notes of cranberry, strawberry, and cherry burst from the glass.  The complexity of the wine is shown on the palate with ripe tannins and a long finish that showcases the varietal and the appellation. This is a great food wine and pairs well with grilled meats and stews.
